POSITION SUMMARY
Villagio Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Event Manager! The Event Manager emotionally connects with our guests to create a memorable experience. This position oversees weddings and corporate events at Brentsville Hall. He/she must exceed the guest experience by aspiring to go above and beyond in providing exceptional service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)Deliver genuine hospitality to our guestsEstablish key relationships with clients to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenueCapture content to be published on social media throughout eventsPlanning and execution of all events on-siteManaging all guest interactions in preparation and day-of eventManage the timeline and task list for all eventsAttend planning and production meetings and discussionsOrganize and lead collaboration with the Banquet Captain and team on event concept, design, production, and executionCoordinate services with vendors; book event supplies, order supplies as neededCoordinate the logistics for all events with Banquet Captain, Day-Of Coordinator, Corporate P.O.C.Manage the staff that is working at each eventWork with venue to create and revise room layouts and seating arrangements for each event as necessaryCapture all opportunities of day-of sales during the eventManage on-site production and clean-up for eventsManage all guests’ needsManage follow-up with vendors, sponsors, and staff members following each eventResponsible for keeping the building in like new conditionAdhere to our alcohol awareness proceduresAdhere to, and enforce all sales policies, practices, and proceduresPerform additional duties as requiredCompetency Statement(s)

Education : High School diploma or equivalency required; degree in Event Planning a plus
Experience : Three to five years of previous events experience, preferably in the wedding industry
Computer Skills : Microsoft Office Suite and Tripleseat
