Description

The Double Pump Down Operator is responsible for the safe onsite pressure pumping operation at the wellsite. Operators must have basic knowledge of a standard pump package with the ability to troubleshoot equipment at the jobsite. Must have the ability to identify and describe the function of the wellhead in order to rig up/rig down related equipment. Workload consists of 75% field and 25% shop with the ability to work away from home for extended periods of time. Must be able to obtain and maintain a commercial driver's license (CDL Class A).

Roles and Responsibilities:Have the ability to drive, rig up, maintain, repack and rig down equipmentDemonstrates reliability, reports to work on time for scheduled shiftsShows initiative, demonstrates awareness and follows instructionsMaintains a current and accurate daily activity logResponsible for filling out Driver's Logs, Pre-Trip and Post-Trip reports, Fuel reports and Monthly Maintenance reportsKeeps the location clean and performs normal housekeeping dutiesCan identify and describe the function of wellhead components including valves, gauges, and pressure ratingsComplies with HSE policies and safety programThey must know all components of a standard pump package and describe it functionThey will perform other duties as assignedThey work under the direction of the District ManagerSkills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operations instructions and policies/proceduresAbility to write reports and simple correspondence effectively communicating information to groups of co-workers and/or clientsAbility to apply common sense reasoning in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructionsSafety

Must have the ability to lift ±100 lbs.Work in toxic environments (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas) while wearing a self-contained breathing apparatus with full face sealed respiratory equipment weighing ±30 lbs.Work at remote well locations ±2 hours from the nearest medical care facilityWork comfortably up to 15' above the ground wearing the appropriate fall protection equipment designated for the jobAbility to evacuate a fellow employee in the event of an emergency
