Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision and running of venue distribution/ warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance.The Warehouse Supervisor must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of (or preparation for) any assigned event.The Warehouse Supervisor will actively supervise, coach, counsel, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards, and will independently initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion, and transfer.The Warehouse Supervisor will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $25.

including but not limited to (Other duties as assigned):Work from general instructions and specifications.Responsible for product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for the venue.Ensure that established procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, receiving dockets and perpetual inventor are maintained; report any deviation to the Warehouse Manager and Director of Operations.Maintain and manage sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.Willing and available to assist with event operations as directed by the Chief Engineer or Facility Manager.Maintain warehouse inventory and ensure system controls of warehouse inventory at all timesResponsible for ensuring that purchase order system is adhered to for all orders received at each warehouse; verify proper specification, size, quantity, etc. of goods received; supervise proper labeling, dating and stocking of supplies.Maintain Safety Data Sheets for all products and properly organized and available to all personnel.Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product.Conduct walk through of the warehouse, shops and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent.Demonstrated skill in managing multiple functions and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and a commitment to team results are required.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Ability to work various workdays and hours to meet business needs including early/late hours, long days, weekends and holidays.Must be reliable and punctual.

While performing duties of this job, the employee will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, copy machines, faxes and printers.The employee occasionally lifts and moves a variety of facility equipment and/or tools.Employee will constantly move about inside and outside various areas of the facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients and supervise the work of employees; position will require employee to occasionally bend, stoop, or crouch to evaluate and inspect/install utility services; employee will as needed operate fork lift or high lift to support the exhibitor requirements for the event. Employee will be required to identify or match colors/tones of coded floor plans. Employee must constantly communicate via telephone, email and in-person with others and exchange accurate information. Employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.As business, maintenance, operations or emergency situations require, employee may occasionally lift/move 100 lbs. or more.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Ability to proficiently utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook); training on industry specific software will be provided

While performing the duties of this job, regularly performed indoors in varying conditions and occasionally outdoors as necessary.The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to hot or cold temperatures and/or wet or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and may work with chemicals such as cleaners, paint, and solvents. The noise level in the work environment is normally quiet to moderate and occasionally loud.
