Manufacturing Controller
New opening with a Global, Publicly Traded Manufacturing & Distribution company overseeing all financial operations including general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial statement preparation, operational accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management), as well as Cost Accounting / Inventory.
This position will lead a team of 5, and will have direct exposure to the C-Level Executive team. If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership of a function, and help grow / develop a team, this could be a great opportunity!

Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and reportingResponsible for all Cost Accounting / Inventory, including coordination with external auditorsDevelop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controlsManage the general ledger accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial statementsResponsible for oversight of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collectionsPerform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare and present financial reports to senior managementCoordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performanceEnsure compliance with all applicable tax and accounting standards, regulations, and lawsManage monthly and year-end closing of the books in a timely matterResearch accounting issues for complianceEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingDevelop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controlsManagement of the ERP system (upgrades, reporting, implementations / integrations)Ad hoc projects as they ariseRequirements:
Manufacturing / Tangible Product Industry highly preferredCPA highly preferred8+ years of relevant experienceBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalentExperience managing all aspects of Accounting & Finance, including accounting operations, benefits, payroll, and partnering with CPA firm for taxesAbility to be a strategic business partner to leadership
