Position Summary:
Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility
Qualifications:Current, California nursing license in good standingCurrent valid CPR certification requiredOne year staff nurse and three years management experience in an acute care facilityNursing degree or graduation from accredited college or approved RN programResponsibilities:
Maintain an acceptable standard of nursing practice and professional decorumBe courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all facility staff, residents and publicKnowledge of Federal and State Regulations governing long term care nursing facilitiesKnowledge and implementation of the facility's policies and proceduresDirect and assist Licensed Nurses in clinical performances areasPerform function and responsibilities of a Charge Nurse as assignedPerform functions and responsibilities of Assistant Director of Nursing ServicesReact appropriately to emergencies and disaster situationsComplete accident/incident reports as necessaryNotify Administrator and/ or Director of Nursing of any serious situationAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents as requiredBenefits :
