Come explore Novanta.Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager is a key member of the Product Management team. This position will be critical to drive the growth (organic and inorganic) of the business and accelerate the transformation of the business from engineering-led to market/customer-led business.ResponsibilitiesShape long-term product roadmap to deliver revenue and Margin targetsEstablish a clear market assessment and segmentation strategy to support business growth (e.g., market penetration, new product development, new markets, diversification).Conduct primary and secondary market research independently.Prepare/use business case for NPIs/Sustaining projects to drive decisions on product category prioritiesResponsible for completing deliverables for all Stage Gates to ensure NPI revenue achievement.Continuous validation of business cases with customers and partners throughout the processResponsible for pricing strategy to drive GM expansion through pricing realization.Leverage SMEs to achieve strategic outcome through deep functional Product Management expertiseRequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or business administration; MBA RequiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in product planning, and product management.Avid practitioner of lean tools used for driving growth through product planning and managementAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving and data driven decision-making skillsNovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
