Job Summary
The Business Development Representative’s purpose is to identify and generate sales opportunities and meetings with prospects through outbound calling activities and qualifying inbound leads.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
Drive account growth for SHI by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into new accounts
Contacting qualified prospects through email touches and phone conversations
Prospecting within existing customers to expand relationship within
Participation in Sales initiatives and campaigns as extension to Sales Team
Cold calling and uncovering opportunities and meetings
Coordinate sales efforts and activities with Sales Teams within dedicated territory
Provide consultation to customers regarding their IT solutions needs
Drive account growth for SHI by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into new accounts
Learn and leverage resources to advance a sales cycle
Lead follow up from partner events and trade shows
Actively staying on top of company, competition, and technology knowledge
Consistently achieve or exceed activity and sales goals
Gain industry knowledge through product and technology trainings
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor’s Degree (College/University)
A passion to hunt for new business (Cold Call)
Experience managing customers and projects in a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool
1 year sales experience
Required Skills

Self-motivated with problem solving mentality and hunter focus

Demonstrated the ability to work individuality and in a team environment
Ability to accept feedback and incorporate new strategies and ideas

Cold Calling Skills
Proficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Previous sales or business development experience
Knowledge and understanding of SHI’s value propositions
Proficient in SHI sales tools, (CRM, BI, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
Understanding of SHI Solution offerings
Unique Requirements
Travel is required to all sales events (Kickoff, spring and fall huddles and Global Sales Conference)
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $80,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
