Pediatric Neurology Opportunities with Bon Secours in Richmond, Virginia

Bon Secours Medical Group is hiring two Board-Certified Pediatric Neurologists to support St. Marys Hospital in providing neurological care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns through teenage years. St. Marys Hospital is a 391-bed facility in Richmond near the West End. Located on St. Marys Campus, this clinic offers care to children of all ages. St. Marys has a dedicated pediatric emergency department, as well as inpatient pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and general pediatric units. A Social worker is shared across pediatric specialty practices.

Position Details:

This is a bread-and-butter Pediatric Neurology opportunity with no academic or research component. Physicians see a good mix of cases including headaches, epilepsy, and a variety of movement disorders. Practice scope includes EEG's reading, opportunity to provide Sleep studies, and lumbar punctures.There is strong support from nurses and other pediatric subspecialty physicians including Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Pulmonology. Pediatric Hospitalists are in place to help with admissions and rounding on patients.

Call Rotation 1:3

Clinic Hours Monday- Friday  8-12 patients per day

Inpatient sleep studies are available for children 3 years & older and EEG monitoring.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurology
