Job Summary:

A great chance for a neurosurgeon to build a practice the way you want it with full support from the hospital in McAllen, TX.  Strong interest in a neurosurgeon with spine training/experience due to large spine volumes in the community.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
• Candidates with experience or new residents/fellows will be considered
• Access to a da Vinci robot surgical system, an o-arm, a biplane unit and an angiography suite
• Upgrading IR & cath lab
• Opportunity to build brain/cranial/spine
• Experience with VNS/DBS and/or stroke would be a plus
• Shared call with three other neurosurgeons in the community
• 24/7 neurohospitalists
• Huge community need for an additional neurosurgeon in the area
