South San Francisco, CAEngineering - Research – Research /Full Time /On-sitePosition SummaryWe are seeking an Automation Scientist to contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of innovative lab automation systems to enable robust and efficient high-quality data generation for high-throughput cell therapy manufacturing QC testing.This hire will work closely with our Automation Engineering, Analytical Development, and Quality Control teams to capture and manage automated QC method requirements and data quality specifications. This hire will have a strong background in laboratory automation, instrumentation, and data analysis methodologies to implement assay optimization and troubleshooting strategies to streamline the transfer of benchtop assays to fully automated end-to-end workflows. This hire will also work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement assay method validation and verification test plans to ensure our systems meet requirements and quality expectations.
