Assistant Professor - Pediatric Gastroenterology

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a full time Assistant Professor position based in our Fox Valley Region. The Fox Valley is one of the largest, fastest growing urban centers in Wisconsin and is conveniently located between Milwaukee where our main campus is located and Green Bay, with easy access to both cities.
Our pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition program is ranked in the top 20 of US News and World Report and is recognized as one of the top pediatric gastroenterology programs in the country for our clinical and research excellence. This position will join an established faculty and PNP team within the Fox Valley. The Fox Valley satellite functions within the support system of our main campus program which is comprised of 20 faculty members, 7 APNP’s and 6 instructor fellows who partner with a team of specialized nurse clinicians, dietitians, social workers, pediatric psychologists and research staff. We are committed to providing outstanding clinical care, while supporting a variety of educational, research, advocacy and quality improvement projects.
Clinical Responsibilities will include outpatient clinical evaluation and management of patients with pediatric gastrointestinal disease, inpatient attending and performing the full range of gastrointestinal procedures. This position also requires teaching of medical students, residents and fellows in pediatric gastroenterology.
Position Requirements:
Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Rank upon appointment will be commensurate with experience.

Children’s Wisconsin Services in the Northeast Region
In Northeast Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin is expanding its services to provide kids and families with increased access to outstanding pediatric subspecialty care. Children’s operates a pediatric hospital, Children’s Wisconsin-Fox Valley, in Neenah, which includes a pediatric inpatient unit, Level III NICU and infusion center. Children’s is opening a new state-of-the-art pediatric specialty care facility in Appleton in early 2023.
The pediatric providers who offer inpatient and ambulatory care services at Children’s Wisconsin locations are part of Children’s Specialty Group, a pediatric practice partnership between Children’s and The Medical College of Wisconsin. Children’s Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare have formed a pediatric joint venture with a focus on improving the health and well-being of kids in the northeast region.
