Academic Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedics in The MetroHealth System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in pediatric orthopedic surgery. The MetroHealth System is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. As a major teaching facility, MetroHealth serves as a Level I Adult Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the Burn Center for Northeastern Ohio and manages one of the busiest air transport services in the United States. The Orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs are integrated with University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and affiliated with CWRU.
Candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. The position will be within a busy Pediatric Orthopedic Division, which is part of the Neuromuscular Skeletal Service Institute. In addition to treating a high volume of pediatric trauma cases, the ideal candidate will have a clinical and academic interest in general pediatric orthopedic conditions, including limb deformity correction, hip diseases, cerebral palsy, and other neuromuscular conditions. Faculty Appointment at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine will be commensurate upon experience.
