Position descriptionFaculty Positions | Division of Epilepsy, Department of Neurology UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF HealthThe Department of Neurology at UCSF is recruiting faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. The selected candidates will be appointed to our Division of Epilepsy. Qualified candidates will possess a valid medical license and Board certification in Neurology. Preferred qualifications include the following: Completion of a joint Neurology and Psychiatry residency with additional Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry Completion of a Neurology residency with formal training and experience in diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex neuropsychiatric co-morbidities of epilepsy and functional neurological disorders with attacks/seizures.Completion of a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical neurophysiology with additional Board certification or eligibility in these fields. Candidates must meet the required qualifications at the time of appointment. Candidate’s CV must state qualifications (or if pending) upon submission.Clinical responsibilities may include attending at the outpatient Epilepsy Clinics and the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at Parnassus with possible additional duties at the adult hospital at Mission Bay, the Benioff Children’s Hospitals, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General as needed. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $97,300-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. For positions that are 50% effort or less: See Table 2 for the salary range for this position.
