FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (USA). Sanford Health, an integrated multi-specialty health system is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Surgical Oncologist to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota.
Practice Details:
General surgical oncology, with practice options including but not limited to a wide range of malignancies (i.e breast, sarcoma, melanoma, esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, HIPEC, ovarian) and complicated benign hepatobiliary
Integrated practice with the Roger Maris Cancer Center. The Roger Maris Cancer Center is a comprehensive, state of the art cancer center with 14 board certified medical oncologists, 4 pediatric oncologists, 6 radiation oncologists, and RN navigators for most disease sites
Specialty specific tumor boards
Many research opportunities with national clinical trials (NCI, NCCOR), well funded institutional research (both basic science and translational) as well as opportunities with affiliated academic institutions (North Dakota State University and University of North Dakota)
Teaching of general surgery residents and medical students through the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Science
New medical oncology fellowship and bone marrow transplant program

Competitive compensation package includes:
- Compensation floor of $525,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- In addition, a $150,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details)
