Family Medicine Physician in Coastal SC (35k+ Sign-on Bonus) - Rural Health Clin

Conway Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing primary care in a rural setting and making a meaningful impact in the community!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)
• Protected administrative time (5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
• Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation
• Cerner EMR

PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:

• Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day
• Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
• Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.

VISIT TYPES:

• Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
• Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings.
