New system is a robotic bronchoscopy system which combines navigational technology with a new robotic bronchoscope platform that allows for continuous live camera during deployment of various tools which has previously not been possible, along with robotic micro movement control. This new system will allow the bronchoscopist to reach areas of the lung previously thought of as inaccessible and facilitates biopsy of smaller nodules with greater accuracy and yield, leading to potentially earlier diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
