Job Summary
St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist for our hospital campus in Philadelphia, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded pediatric healthcare institution that is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children with complex pulmonary conditions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the pediatric pulmonologist will play a key role in expanding services and enhancing the quality of care in the community.
Position Highlights:
- Growing practice to meet demand and develop satellite clinics
- Physician will have ability to provide input on the growth of the department
- Teaching for residents and medical students
- Respond to consult requests
- Perform Bronchoscopies
- Conduct sweat testing to diagnose Cystic Fibrosis
- Lung function testing: spirometry and whole-body plethysmography
- Noninvasive ventilation therapies: CPAP & BiPAP

With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. Qualifications
- MD or DO
- BC in Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics
- Three (3) years post fellowship experience preferred
- Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric residency
- Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
- Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
