Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of PM&R (NTT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Services (Jefferson City, MO)
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of PM&R (Non-Tenure Track) with a focus on Inpatient Rehabilitation Services. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of patient care at Capital Region Medical Center (CRMC) in Jefferson City.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our faculty, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care across various settings. Key responsibilities include:
Perform acute care consults at Capital Region Medical Center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address urgent medical needs.
Administer inpatient rehabilitation care within the CRMC 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on optimizing patient recovery and functionality.
Provide outpatient services, addressing follow-up needs for patients who have undergone acute care and inpatient rehabilitation at CRMC.
Conduct outpatient Musculoskeletal (MSK) care utilizing advanced techniques, including ultrasound, to diagnose and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Administer outpatient Electromyography (EMG) services, employing specialized diagnostic procedures to assess nerve and muscle function.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the continuum of care, ensuring the well-being of our patients across acute, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD/DO
- BC/BE in Physiatry
