JOB SUMMARY:
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse and forklift operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandiseOperate 6,000 lb. forklift, reach truck and order pickerSort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mopOrganize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all timesWear the proper safety equipment at all timesAny other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or managerQUALIFICATIONS:One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receivingExcellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team playerEnsure all safety rules are strictly observedForklift experienceComputer knowledge a plusCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
