As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our Research & Development and General & Administrative functions. This role will involve collaborating closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making.
You'll Get To
Work closely with R&D and G&A departments to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Monitor budget performance and perform variance analysis, identifying areas of risk and recommending corrective actions as needed
Prepare and present financial results and key performance indicators to department heads and senior management
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes
Evaluate operating and capital expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities and create advanced ad hoc models to support the business
Work closely with Accounting to assist in monthly close process including providing information related to accruals
Take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives, working independently to gather data, analyze findings and develop actionable recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes
What You'll Need
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive, Hyperion) is a plus
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
Strong understanding of Finance principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and GAAP
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$107,000.00 - $135,000.00
