We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst Associate to join our West Regional Finance Team in San Francisco. Responsibilities:
Participate in month end close, including preparation of journal entries and brokerage deal review.Assist with month billing.Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with GAAP.Assist with the preparation of monthly financial decks for regional business line.Maintain Accounts Receivables and other Balance Sheet accounts providing monthly commentary for unresolved items.Ad hoc requests as needed.Provide exceptional customer service.Qualifications/Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.Up to 2 years relevant experience.Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (e.g. Debits & Credits, Balance Sheet, Income Statement) including technical skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion (preferred).Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Ability to:Work effectively in a team environment.Work independently and meet deadlines.Communicate effectively across all levels.Be flexible in a fast-paced environment.Work with confidential/sensitive information.Work overtime if needed.Must be a self-starter and proactive with a desire to learn and ask questions.Be coachable.
