Director of Product Management
to join the
Relationship Offerings
team to lead high performing teams of Product Managers serving the Customer Relationship and Engagement Technology org.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
As a Director of Product Management, you will be building and leading empowered teams that partner with key internal teams, engage in customer research, execute data-driven prioritization to design, build, and launch initiatives driving supporting both customer needs and business objectives and key results. This leadership position will tap into your talents from incubating new products to investing in existing products. You will work with enterprise leaders to align on the most valuable product outcomes. You will support the adoption of product management practices, foster inclusive leadership, and pioneer new ways of working.
The Relationship Offerings team is focused on deepening customer relationships and creating customer and business value by acquiring, engaging, and retaining members for our loyalty programs.
As the Director of Relationship Offerings, you will own creating and delivering against the vision, strategy, and tactics for Membership. You will lead a team of product managers and partner with stakeholders across our technology, operations, and business teams to elevate omnichannel membership experiences, experiment with and enhance the value we provide members and to drive growth in customer lifetime value and relationship index.
What You'll Do
Craft and drive complex product(s) and experience vision across a matrixed organizationProficiently lead long term vision strategically aligned to the organizational goalsMastery in translating business needs into customer goals and featuresDemonstrate mastery in both crafting the strategy and overall execution for a highly complex product line or multiple product linesDeliver against core customer value propositions and Best Buy's strategic and financial goalsDemonstrate empathy for the customer and steer discussions to how to build customer trustReduce system constraints (resource, financial, technology) to build long-term customer engagement and brand loveDemonstrate the test / learn / iterate mindsetDemonstrate an innovative mindset and find ways to push through adversity.Analyze product performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and processes
Basic Qualifications
6 years of Product Management experience, OR experience working with development, User experience, Strategy, or related5 years of experience with direct people management and team management4 years of relevant experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership, or relatedBachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of Product Management experience, OR experience working with Development, User Experience, Strategy, or related6 years of experience with direct people management and team management
