Job DescriptionThis role will be focused on extensive training and development in target market to prepare the trainee for their role as an Account Manager within 9-18 months of moving into this role. The program will involve joining the Integrated Sales team to provide inbound sales coverage, account manager mentorship and job shadowing, and development of sales capabilities. Role will work with and receive guidance and direction from several different teams including but not limited to: Integrated Sales, Field Sales, R&D, Technical Services, Marketing Management and Sales Management.This position will require relocation within the U.S after the first year of training.WHAT YOU GET TO DOIn partnership with leader, take ownership of personal training development program.Work with Integrated Sales team to drive growth through new business opportunity and business development of stable and/or dormant accounts.Identify, present, manage solutions that will provide customer retention and execute new sales through building relationships and maintaining ongoing contact with customers.Effectively manage on Amcor Working Capital directives, sales plans and rolling forecast.Become proficient, stay current in knowledge of manufacturing and internal systems, customer's products, processes and equipment for targeted market.Proactively seek out, actively participate in and report out on customer audits, trials with Technical Service, Account Managers and Directors as needed.Work closely with Integrated Sales team to align on needs as transition to field begins.As able, mentor to and train market segment replacement and/or prepare Integrated Sales Representative to be able to do so.Work with designated mentors in assigned market.Work with Marketing and Sales' Directors on target market for field position.Participate in extensive market and application training in strategic applications for market segment.Travel to target customers in new assigned territory.Develop in depth knowledge of Amcor's products, processes and value-added proposition to prepare for field sales opportunity.Meet sales plan and manage accurate rolling forecast.Obtain and develop new opportunities in Amcor's core target markets to support growth and profit expectations to enable differentiation in the market.Meet Working Capital Goals by managing aged inventory and days on hand inventory based on sales objectives.Represent Amcor in alignment with Core Values at all times.Routinely exhibit professional sales skills.WHAT WE VALUEAttention to CommunicationResults OrientationBuilding Collaborative RelationshipsInitiativeCustomer OrientationFostering InnovationResponsive and Well organizedProject ManagementWHAT WE WANT FROM YOUBachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.3 to 6 months of successful Sales (internship, co-op, etc.) or related experience, preferred.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
