Technical Lead (IT Infrastructure Specialist)

Minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes.
• At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering Field.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-foryear basis.
Possess a valid Identity and Access Administrator Associate Certification from Microsoft. • Possession of a valid Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft.. • Possession of a valid VMware Certified Professional-Security (VCP-SEC) Certification from VMware. • Possession of a valid Advanced Networking Specialty Certification from AWS. • Possession of a valid Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft. • Possession of a valid Security Specialty Certification from AWS. • Possession of a valid Azure Fundamentals Certification from Microsoft. • Possession of a valid Technical Associate-Data Center Virtualization (VCTA-DCV) Certification from VMware. • Possession of a valid Cloud Practitioner Certification from AWS.
Server Support: Providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems. Escalating complex issues to higher-level IT staff as necessary.
2. System Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management, and performance tuning.
3. Network Monitoring: Monitoring the network to ensure its availability to all system users and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability.
4. Hardware and Software Installation: Assisting with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.
5. User Assistance and Training: Working with end-users to identify and deliver required IT service levels. Providing basic training in the use of hardware and software.
6. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving minor network, hardware, and software problems, providing end users with detailed technical advice and guidance.
7. Documentation: Maintaining an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment. Documenting internal procedures and ensuring records are kept up-to-date.
8. Security: Assisting in maintaining user security by managing account access, password resets, and adhering to security best practices.
9. Collaboration: Working with other IT staff, such as network engineers, system administrators, and IT support specialists to support the infrastructure and contribute to projects. 10. Vendor Coordination: Interacting with third-party support and equipment vendors as needed. 11. Technology includes: VMware, VXrails, M365 G5 Suite of tools, Splunk, Dell Compute and Storage, Certification Automation, Conditional Access, MFA, Linux, Backup Software.
