Heart Failure Cardiologist (Cardiology)Intermountain HealthcareSt. George, UT – St. George Regional HospitalWith locations in seven states and additional operations across the western U.S., Intermountain Health is a nonprofit system of 33 hospitals, 385 clinics, medical groups with 3,800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers, a health plan division called SelectHealth with more than 1 million members, and other health services. Intermountain is committed to improving community health and is widely recognized as a leader in transforming healthcare by using evidence-based best practices to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes at sustainable costs.Practice InformationJoin an established heart failure team comprised of an advanced heart failure cardiologist, APPs and nursesThe team is part of the larger Southwest Cardiology group comprised of a growing team of invasive, interventional, EP, advanced imaging, and structural heart specialists, as well as a robust cardiothoracic surgery programThe group is also connected to the heart transplant and LVAD center in Salt Lake CityThe advanced heart failure practice is supported with advanced imaging modalities including cardiac PET-CT, Pyrophosphate scintigraphy and cardiac MRIThis medical facility is a referral center for trauma and emergency services and houses medical surgical units, a 32-bed ICU, a 50-bed emergency department and fifteen operating roomsRequirementsBoard Certified/ Board Eligible in Heart FailureUnrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted licenseU.S. ACGME ResidencyBenefitsGenerous salary and incentive recognition bonusesFull Intermountain benefits packageSign-on bonusCMERelocation assistance provided, up to 20KA 501c3 companyAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.

There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon. Overall, you will find sunshine 300 days out of the year. Educational opportunities are available through Utah Tech University (UT) and Southern Utah University (SUU). Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre.
