Materials HandlerPrideStaff, Central Oregon's top rated staffing and recruiting firm, is currently seeking a Material Handler for a great opportunity with one of Central Oregon's biotech companies.The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of working experience in fast paced production environment.Compensation and Benefits for the Materials Handler:M-F, 40-50 hour work weeks with overtime opportunityFull benefits including medical, dental and vision insuranceOpportunities for advancementLive, work, and play in Central OregonResponsibilities of the Materials Handler:Performing a variety of operationsReceiving: Unloading incoming materials, verifying their quality and quantity, and documenting receiptsProperly storing materials in designated locations, ensuring they are organized and easily accessibleInventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting audits, reporting discrepanciesOperating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials within the facilityPreparing materials for shipment, including labeling, packing, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulationsInspecting materials for damage or defects and taking appropriate actions.Experience and Qualifications:Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferredKnowledge of warehouse management systems and processesAbility to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and pack ordersMechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issuesOverall, the materials handler will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials through the facility, contributing to the success of manufacturing and distribution operations.
