Job description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mid-Level Android Native Developer to join our dynamic mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Android development, experience with the full mobile development lifecycle, and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly applications. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining native Android applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to conceptualize, build, test, and release apps. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and ensure the best possible user experience. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team. Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Ensure applications meet quality standards through unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience in Android development. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Strong understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Solid understanding of mobile application architectures, such as MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with Google Play Console for app deployment and management. Familiarity with modern development tools like Android Studio and Gradle. Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing your skills. Fix all gaps in existing Passkey product flows (ios android (other OS)) Improving enrollment rate / expand the ramp Improving Passkey login experiences Improving the E2E settings and passkey experiences (web/native/platform/settings/risk & Strategy, control risk and policy activations/deactivation) Scale to all integration touchpoints (can we be more specific?)
