As Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will make the apps more performant, responsive and stable for millions of users who run it every day. You'll report to the Engineering Manager on the App Health team.You Will
Work with numerous teams to define and implement plans to improve performance and stability of Roblox client applications across all supported platforms.Identify performance bottlenecks and partner with other teams on their resolution to make our applications run lightning fast on any device.Improve performance telemetry to detect and resolve performance regressions.Promote best development and testing practices to maintain stability and performance of the application.Take ownership of projects throughout its full lifecycle.You Have
5+ years of experience working on complex consumer applications for Android, iOS, macOS or Windows.Experience in performance monitoring, profiling and optimization.Proficiency in modern C++, multithreaded, asynchronous and system programming.Experience in Lua or other scripting languages.Ability to profile performance issues.For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.Annual Salary Range
