Position SummaryOur client, a comprehensive, high-end information security services firm, is looking for a Vice President of Finance to join their team.

As a dedicated full-time employee, you'll assist clients in diverse and challenging projects spanning accounting, finance, financial reporting, FP&A, financial system implementation, process redesign, and project management across various industries and companies. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

As a VP of Finance, your responsibilities will include:Financial Leadership:

Lead the accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting function for all lines of business.Manage all corporate accounting activities, including the month-end close process, preparation of financial statements, and internal and external reporting.

Audit/Review and Tax

Be the point person on the Annual Review and Intl AuditsPrepare PBC lists with the help of CFO and Accounting ManagerEnsure timely review of tax returns and filings deadlines.

Cash Flow Management:

Oversee cash flow management, ensuring efficient utilization of financial resources.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Responsible for annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting.Conduct ongoing variance analysis, working closely with department leaders to update drivers and assumptions for more accurate results.

Trend Analysis:

Prepare detailed trend analyses to maximize operational and financial results.

General Ledger Oversight:

Oversee general ledger accounts for multiple divisions, ensuring timely reconciliations and accurate cash applications.

Revenue Recognition and Contract Review:

Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and review contracts.

Process Improvement:

Identify and optimize ways to improve processes through automation and standardization.Bring best practices to the team, ensuring goals are met and challenging the status quo.

ERP Implementation:

Assist in the identification and need to transition to a new ERP system. Currently using NetSuite.

Relationship Management:

Maintain and progress banking, stakeholder, and leadership relationships, as you will be working closely with them on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, with experience in large public companies (National Firm experience preferred).Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments.High energy with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.Demonstrated career progression.Proficiency in manipulating large data sets in Excel.Knowledgeable in US GAAP and IFRS.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with unwavering attention to detail.Benefits:
