Warehouse Associate
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their warehouse team. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. They should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive incoming inventory
Check quantity and product description against invoiceInspect product for defects and damageNote any discrepancies and inform warehouse supervisor
Organize incoming inventory items appropriately
Load inventory on pallets consistent with warehouse policy
Pick inventory to fill customer ordersAbide by all company safety regulationsContribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing proceduresKeep warehouse clean and organized dailyOther duties as assignedKnowledge/Experience/Skills:
2+ years warehouse experienceExcellent attention to detailAbility to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipmentAdequate knowledge of standard warehouse proceduresTeam player with organizational skillsAbility to lift or move heavy products - up to 75lbsHigh school diplomaFull-Time Positions:
Flexible Schedule40 hours per weekMonday through Friday at our facility in ChampaignFull Benefits
Starting wage range is $17.00 - $20.00 an hour and increases with background, qualifications, and experience, three weeks of PTO (with one week accrued at date of hire), Medical, 401k matching, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more.
