BASIC PURPOSE:
The Guestroom Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel and residences. The Guestroom Attendant is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms/residences meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:Clean and/or refresh guest rooms as assigned by management and in accordance with hotel standards. Complete deep cleaning of rooms as allocated by Supervisors/managers.Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area. Promotes hotel services and products.Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction. Offers a special service touch when an opportunity is presented.Receive and complete all guest requests - extra pillows, blankets, towels, etc.Check with Housekeeping management for the list of names of VIP and other guests. Greet as many guests as possible using their names.Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel.Prepare unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests.Close drapes, reduces lighting, turns music on, and prepares bed. Restock towels and used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, etc.Immediately report and hand into Housekeeping Office any property or guest keys found in 'check out' rooms.To keep linen rooms, tidy, correctly stocked and closed at all times when not in use. Must ensure working equipment is always clean, tidy and in good working order; Report to Supervisor/manager the rooms which do not require service or which have DND signs in his / her assigned area.Communicate/report room and resort deficiencies - missing items from rooms e.g. bathrobes, soap dishes. Also communicate to manager if work assignment is finished early for direction.Remove all garbage and recyclable items and place in the appropriate bins inside the service area.Report any damages/repairs/maintenance inserted in HotSOS or to manager.Check for any discrepancies on the Room Attendant's Report.To clean and make up all rooms to the standard required by Four Seasons and following the sequence of service established.Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.Report to the Supervisor/managers anything this may be a Health and Safety hazard. Report to your Supervisors/managers anything or anyone suspicious.Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel employees.Complies with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain public areas of the hotel (including KFAS and Pool) - washrooms to be clean and refreshed/stocked, routine checks of all public areas for front and back of the house. Check guest elevators regularly, clean floors, mirrors, and polish brass as required, check driveway and sidewalks for cleanliness. Clean employees' washrooms on all floors including pool area. Responsible for the cleanliness of the guest villa common space areas including housekeeping storage closets. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Housekeeping, laundry coverage and phone coverage when needed. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Education:
High School education or equivalent experiences.Experience:
Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping or equivalent with Four Seasons or another organization.Skills and Abilities:
