Job Description:As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting Escrow Officers with the coordination and management of escrow transactions. You will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, communicating with clients and third parties, and ensuring the smooth and timely completion of escrow transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:Assist Escrow Officers in opening, processing, and closing escrow transactions for residential and commercial properties.Prepare escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other legal documents accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in escrow transactions to gather necessary documentation and information.Communicate with clients and third parties via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide updates on escrow transactions and address any inquiries or concerns.Maintain accurate and organized escrow files, including electronic and physical records.Prepare and distribute escrow-related documents, including recording packages, title insurance policies, and disbursement checks.Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating signings, and arranging for notarization of documents as needed.Collaborate with Escrow Officers to ensure compliance with escrow instructions, contract terms, and regulatory requirements.Provide administrative support to the escrow team, including managing incoming calls, sorting mail, and handling office tasks as assigned.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or coursework in business administration or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in escrow, real estate, or a related field.Knowledge of escrow procedures, title insurance, and real estate transactions.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and escrow software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Customer service-oriented with a positive and professional demeanor.Notary public commission is a plus but not required.Benefits:
