Shipping / Receiving Associate Job Purpose &Responsibilities:
The Logistics Associate I is responsible for the successful daily execution of receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping ofproducts. He or she will operate with a high degree of safety, responsiveness, and accuracy to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately and on time using system provided documentationReceive, unload and put away incoming inventory items accurately and appropriatelyGeneral maintenance, organization, and cleaning of shipping, receiving, storage, and service areasOperation of various types of material handling equipment including narrow aisle reach trucks and forklifts in compliance with safety proceduresProvide support for all functions within the operation as neededMust adhere to Company EH&S policy and procedures when preforming job dutiesOther duties or tasks as assigned by manager
Shipping / Receiving Associate Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionAt least 1 year of logistics experienceCertified and licensed to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other material handling equipment
Shipping / Receiving Associate Preferred Qualifications:Experience with ERP Systems - SAP, SFDCFamiliarity with 5s methodology
Specific Professional Skills/Competencies:Team player with good communication and organizational skillsAbility to use systems, tools, and technologiesDemonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, TeamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to accept coaching and direction from a team leader or senior associate
Physical Demands:Ability tolift upto OSHA single person lift requirementsAbility to sit, stand, bend or walk for prolonged periods of time
