General Cardiologist

Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a motivated and capable board eligible or board certified Cardiologist to join a world class division of Heart & Vascular Services. This position entails a clinical cardiology focus and a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage, including echo stress and cardiac imaging as appropriate to training and desire. Candidates are expected to have completed fellowship training in Cardiology and be Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
The Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Heart & Vascular Institute is the largest and ever-growing practice in the region, with a total of 14 employed cardiologists including 4 interventional cardiologists and 2 EP specialists. There are 11 advanced practice clinicians supporting delivery of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Cardiology operates practices at 4 locations while serving 4 hospitals in the tri-county area.
The Mercy Health Heart and Vascular group also includes two board certified Cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 board certified vascular surgeons. The service line performs high volumes of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases annually. This year the cardiac volume will be over 300 cases not counting TAVR. The hospital is a Level 1 trauma center, is a certified stroke center, also chest pain certified with PCI, and the only sepsis center of excellence in Ohio.
