- Marion General Hospital
- O’Bleness Hospital
- Grady Memorial Hospital
Description:
To perform and document preanesthetic assessment and evaluations of patients. Develop and implement anesthetic plans. To initiate the anesthetic technique to include general, regional, local and sedation. Provide continuous evaluation of patient's physical status. Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs and fluids. Discharge patients from post anesthesia care and provide follow up evaluation. Respond to emergency situations. Provide on call coverage as required. All services provided will be supervise by a Physician as required by Ohio law.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree (Required)AANA - American Association of Nurse Anesthetists - NBCRNA - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse. Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Complete the AANA Certification examination. Comply with criteria for biennial re Certification as defined by AANA to include current licensure as a registered nurse, active practice as a CRNA, appropriate continuing and verification of the absence of mental, physical or other problems which could interfere with the practice of Anesthesia.
