Are you passionate about using machine learning to drive robot behavior? Curious what you’d be able to accomplish with total access to Boston Dynamics robots? As a

Research Scientist

on the Atlas R&D team, you will join a world-class team of engineers and scientists focused on creating next-generation robot mobility and manipulation. Our team is interested in exploring new approaches to programming robot behaviors that leverage the latest techniques in reinforcement learning, behavior cloning, and foundation models. In this role, you will be defining, training, and integrating learned models with existing subsystems to expand the behavioral capabilities of Atlas and other Boston Dynamics robots. How You Will Make An Impact

Creatively identify and apply modern learning algorithms to real-world problemsWrite high-quality (documented, tested, maintainable) Python and C++ codeLead design reviews and collaborate closely with members of the Atlas controls, perception, and machine learning teamsDeploy and debug your code on Atlas, Spot, and other BD robotsWe Are Looking For
