Job Overview:The Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical, and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups and maintaining statistical records,Qualifications:Required:New Jersey registered or registration eligible,One year previous pharmacy experience in hospital setting preferred, and or pharmacy technician training coursePreferred:PTCB certification preferred,Scheduling Requirements:Evening ShiftFull-Time schedule40 hours weeklyEssential Functions:The position is also responsible for identifying and reporting hazardous environments or safety issues and medical errors to appropriate personnel,The position is also responsible for any other assigned tasks, as appropriate,Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
