We are currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist in Monroe, LA.
This will be both inpatient and outpatient. Bulk of case load will be outpatient clinical work at the behavioral health hospital, about 4 miles from the Regional Hospital. The behavioral health hospital has a new behavioral health EMR, 40 beds, and is divided into 2 units. 20 geriatric beds and 20 general psych beds. There is a daily census of 18-21 patients. Currently (2) doctors and (2) psychiatric NPs are on staff with mid level support. Incoming physician will be responsible for inpatient consults.
- Paid call - $200/weekday and $400/weekend
- Standard business hours (8:30-5:30)
