This is a part time opportunity to work with an established team that includes seven Neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs). The selected candidate will provide care to neonates in a 30-bed, Level 3 NICU. The team shares responsibilities to ensure there is 24/7 coverage for the NICU as well as coverage for complicated deliveries and cesarean sections. During the day, the physicians are supported with two NNPs from 7am-5pm. The call coverage is 1:5 and is in-house call. In addition to the NNPs, the Neonatologists work with the Pediatric Hospitalist team that is in-house 24/7 and provide coverage for the newborn nursery and the delivery room consults.
