Procedures include, but are not limited to:- Myelogram- Arthrogram- Hysterosalpingogram/Sonohysterogram, interpretation only- Upper GI/Barium Swallow- Percutaneous Biopsy and/or Aspiration- Small Bowel Follow Through/Enteroclysis- Barium Enema (Single and Double contrast)- Mammogram (to Include Needle Localization)- Other (Gall Bladder, Fistulograms, Galactograms) Emergency radiological procedures and cases, which include any procedure the health care provider is credentialed to perform, as clinically indicated, outpatient clinical consultations including plain film studies. Administrative services, to include: boards, committee meetings, continuing medical education, peer review and quality improvement as deemed necessary the Flight Commander or his/her designee. Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.QUALIFICATIONS: Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the time the degree was obtained (e.g. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country, or successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination. Internship/Residency: Successful completion of a residency program in Diagnostic Imaging which has been approved by the American College of Radiology and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association. Fellowship: Completion of an ACR Certified Radiology Fellowship is preferred but not required. Clinical Board Certification: Possess Current board certification (BC) or meet board eligibility (BE) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR). Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida. Experience: Be continuously employed in the practice of diagnostic radiology or in training for 24 months within the last 36 months. Life Support Certification: Possess and maintain a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)certifications. Must be a U.S citizenand have the ability to pass a background check/security clearance.STAFFING & SCHEDULING: Duty Hours: Usual Duty Hours for this position is an eight hour shift Monday - Friday between the hours of or (supervisor discretion),to include an uncompensated one hour lunch.
