Essential duties and ResponsibilitiesOperates stand up forklift and electric pallet jack as neededScan and send all received P.O. documentation over to the accounting teamCollect checks and payments from driversPick point of sales orders for customers picking up productPerform stock rotation of productPrepare daily lists of receiving and shipping instructionsReceive trucks in a timely and accurate manner to load and unload tractor-trailer trucks per P.O requirementsProcess and re-stock returnsScan and place labels on products depending on requirementsMaintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storageMaintain accurate inventoriesEnsure facility maintenance through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, and maintaining the assets of the facilityTimely and accurate slotting of products in rack systemOther duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.Can read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to perform various tasks of the job, including but not limited to; read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, communicating with co-workers and the general public, understanding oral and written instructions, accurately completing various shipping papers, reports, and records required of the positionAbility to operate various types of configuration of equipment assigned, including various types of standing forklifts and hand held scanners with trainingPrior experience with stand up forklifts and pallet jacks a preferredFamiliar with CK31 & CK71 scanner a plusPossess good judgement necessary to perform the functions of the job including; operating a forklift in a safe and lawful manner; handling customers' products safely and efficiently, and communicating tactfully and diplomaticallyAbility to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperaturesAbility to meet physical requirements including: standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 to 100 pounds.Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods of time, below 35 degrees.Benefits you will enjoy:
