We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, experience with Azure infrastructure and services, experience with managing hybrid infrastructure, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions that meet regulatory and compliance requirementsDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards to ensure a consistent and secure hybrid environmentAssist in the configuration of network systems, servers, software, data storage, cloud technologies and associated updatesMonitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities to proactively identify and mitigate risksConfigure and manage security tools such as Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft IntuneConduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance and supportContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to security controls and processesProvide security incident response and escalation support as neededMaintain server infrastructure services (hardware - virtualized) and other technologiesAssist in the planning for the future growth and development of IT infrastructureBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in infrastructure security design, implementation, and managementStrong understanding of MDM tooling (Intune, JAMF)Experience with project management tooling (Jira/Projects)Strong understanding of network and server infrastructure, including but not limited to, Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies, firewalling, routing and switching, and storage systemsHands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, SIEM and endpoint protectionExperience managing Hybrid EnvironmentsExperience with managing on-prem systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with Unified Endpoint management.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, ISOM) is a plusExperience with managing GCC High Cloud environment.Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CMMCExperience with managing Cloud and large on-prem environments.Experience managing on-prem clustersExperience with Cisco or Palo Alto NetworksCOMPENSATION

Base Salary:

$90,000-130,000Equity + Benefits

including Health, Dental, vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Location -Successful candidates will be located near Denver and be required to be in our GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site. Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred) to Denver, CO.
