This would be either a long term contract or contract-to-hire role. We need this person onsite 4 days a week in Midtown Atlanta. Healthcare industry experience and cloud migration experience is a plus.

Company Description:We are tasked with supporting a Fortune 30 Health Insurance client known for its commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services and innovative solutions to its customers. We are currently seeking a Test Lead specializing in cloud and open systems testing, with expertise in API testing, Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, SQL Testing, OpenAI knowledge, Healthcare Experience, and Automation testing (Selenium or Cypress) to lead our testing efforts and ensure the quality of healthcare applications.

Job Description:We are looking for a Test Lead with strong experience in cloud and open systems testing, test planning, test execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, preparing test plans, managing test execution, and reporting on test progress and results for healthcare applications.Responsibilities:

Analyze and review requirements for testability, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and potential test scenarios.Prepare test plans for various types of testing, including usability testing, integration testing, stress/load testing, vulnerability testing, system testing, acceptance testing, parallel testing, and regression testing. Create test summary reports to communicate test results and findings.Identify testing-related risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of issues.Support the testing team in preparing test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test data management (data setup, datasheet changes, test ID distribution).Verify and review deliverables at various phases of the SDLC, ensuring adherence to quality standards and requirements.Chair testing-related meetings with multiple stakeholders, including third-party vendors, to discuss testing strategies, progress, and issues.Manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, including defect logging, tracking, prioritization, resolution, and closure.Track delivery progress, monitor testing activities, and provide status reports to key stakeholders as applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a Test Lead or Senior QA Analyst with expertise in API testing, Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, SQL Testing, OpenAI knowledge, Healthcare Experience, and Automation testing (Selenium or Cypress).Strong understanding of cloud and open systems testing methodologies, best practices, and tools.Ability to prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases for various types of testing.Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress for automated testing.Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques for testing RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices.Familiarity with Mainframe Testing, JCL Batch Testing, and SQL Testing for testing backend systems and databases.Understanding of OpenAI technologies and their application in testing and QA processes.Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of healthcare applications, regulations, and compliance requirements.Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Certification(s) in software testing, automation testing, or related areas.Experience with test management tools such as Client ALM, JIRA, or similar tools.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their testing capabilities.Knowledge of cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.Understanding of DevOps principles and practices for continuous testing and delivery.Ability to analyze and interpret data, metrics, and test results to make data-driven decisions.Experience in Agile methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
