Job Summary The ASG Sr. Network & Security Solutions Architects willrepresentSHI as the trusted advisor on all areas of Networking (i.e., routing/switching/load balancing/firewalls/ etc.) & Network Security (e.g., NGFW / VPN / NAC / SASE / etc.). They willpossessskill sets related to analyzing, designing, and implementing Security, Cloud, and Data Center (on-prem / hybrid) Network services. This includes initiating andparticipatingin projectscomprisedof both technical and non-technical team members. Consultants willpossessexcellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to produce professional presentations intended to influence at all levels of an organization. Responsibilities Performs Implementation services that may include design, architecture analysis, deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and networkengineering Assistsleadership with strategy and develops technical roadmaps for future Networking & Security services (e.g., Cisco, Palo, Fortinet - SDWAN, SSE, SASE, etc.) Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on Customer projects/workshops and be accountable for the projectoutcomes Collect, produce, and update deployment and designdocumentation Develop, update, and continually improve Network & Security Serviceofferings Act as a trusted advisor for our technical sales teams,assistwith opportunity discovery,participatein customer solution/engagement scoping, and sales enablementefforts Assistsales / pre-sales teams inidentifyingand closing opportunities through customer meetings andpresentations Identify, develop, and document best practices/recommendations (people/process/ technology), andassistwith strategy & roadmapplanning Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executive Customer stakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations Evangelize SHI Network & Security Service Offerings across SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, andconferences Develop reports, lessons learned, presentations, and supporting documentation for both Customer engagements and internaldiscussions Stay current onnew technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industrylandscape Serve as a coach/mentor and guide other members of theteam Obtain applicable technical certifications, directed by annual professional development plans &leadership Qualifications Bachelors, Technical degree, or related work experience (Network Engineering / Computer Science) Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility Minimum 5 years of experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco, Palo Altoand Networking technologies (e.g., NGFW / SDWAN / SASE / etc.) Combined experience as a Network Consultant, Operations, and Administration Available to travel to client sites upon reasonable request Required Skills Proficiencywith the design, implementation, and configuration of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cloud networking & security solutions (e.g., NGFW / SSE / SASE). Extensive experience in initiating and leading consultative network projects & initiatives Excellent consultative skills in addressing networking and securitychallenges Strong project management skills (scope, schedule, & cost) Passion for innovation, technology, networking, and continued learning/improvement Excellent written, presentation, whiteboarding, and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technicalaudiences Excellent situational leadership andtimelydecision-making skills Passionate about successful customer outcomes Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization (internally & externally) Ability to work both individually and in a teamenvironment Must be results-driven witha strong senseofurgency Attention to detail and follow-up skills arecritical Strong trusted advisor, coaching, & mentorship skills Preferred Skills: Minimum5years experiencein consulting services Cisco, Palo Alto NGFW / SDWAN / SASEexpertise AWS / Azure / GCP Network & Security Knowledge Certifications Required Cisco Palo Alto Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, orCCIE Palo Alto PCNSEorPCNSC Unique Requirements Travel to customer sites, up to 30% annually Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
