About The Role
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about working in a small, nimble team that owns critical tools for the company. In our team, we work together to unravel and tackle unique business challenges using an impressive data scale that is rarely encountered. You'll be instrumental in owning and improving our team's public cloud infrastructure and collaborating across the company, all while using a diverse set of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Own key aspects of our public cloud-based environment, including resiliency and security.Maintain and enhance our build and deployment pipeline using frameworks like Jenkins, Terraform, Argo, Ansible.Independently research and propose new tooling and technology to meet specific team needs.Become familiar with the architecture and deployment model of a wide array of tools, such as Trino/Presto, Lightdash, Jupyter Notebooks, Apache AirFlow, as well as several home-grown web applications.

Basic Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience3+ years experience working with AWS cloud services including best practices in resiliency and security.1+ years experience deploying applications in AWS using KubernetesProficiency with a scripting programming language such as GoLang or PythonBasic understanding of networks, protocols, servers, storage systems, operating systems
Other Qualifications
Experience with standard software development methodologies such as code management, CI/CD, testingHands-on experience designing and working with CI/CD solutions using Jenkins or similar tools.Experience with infrastructure as code using frameworks like Terraform, Argo CD, Ansible.Experience with Helm charts to deploy applications on EKS.Comfortable with consistent learning, whether it's independent research or knowledge sharing from senior members of the team.Proactive in improving everything that they touch, whether it's automation, documentation, or processComfortable and excited by working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.Experience collaborating with multi-functional global and remote teams with a diverse set of backgrounds.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $124,000 USD - $186,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USD
