Senior Sales Director - Growth Acceleration

and the purpose of this role is to contribute to the development of the global sales growth strategy, taking ownership for the strategic development and execution of ambitious growth plans to accelerate revenue generation through targeted increase in sales of subscription products including existing and new products launched.You will achieve success by:Increased pace and optimised sales of profitable revenue growth to agreed expectations from subscription products and services,Functioning as part of the Sales leadership team, providing direct leadership to our regional new product specialist teamsInfluencing the design and delivery of strategic initiatives that drive a substantial step change increase of new and upsell subscription revenues including specific focus on new products sales across new and existing clientsMaintaining company reputation externally as a growth partner, ensuring we are positioning ourselves correctly with clients, with trust in our subscription products as long-term solutions over competitors, and desire for our new productsEnsuring colleague focus on our strategic priority of subscription product sales, with capability to sell our breadth of subscription products with confidence and effectively for commercial resultsEnsuring application of best practices and delivery of service excellence with consistent year-on-year increase in revenue generation from subscription products and new product sales against growth plans, with positive forward projections of subscription salesWhat you'll be doing:Contribute and influence the global sales growth strategy aligned to company objectives and targets, with focus on alternative innovative strategies to accelerate subscription product and service revenuesLead, manage and ensure resourceful use of capable and consistently motivated high-performing new products specialist teams to drive changes for enhanced subscription-based revenue generationWorking with VP Sales and VP Partnerships to implement initiatives, structures, and activities, managing change effectively to drive improvements in sales approaches to successfully achieve accelerated and continued growthCollaborate cross-functionally with targeted focus on subscription-based sales including:Working across the Sales leadership to ensure agreement and alignment of plans and communications and to drive colleague performance and developmentWorking with the Product Innovation team to ensure new client needs and feedback are metWorking with our Syndicated Research team to enhance client interest, trust, and satisfaction with subscription productsWorking with our Marketing team to ensure continuous improvements in Euromonitor positioning and segmentation and targeted activitiesPartnering with Sales Enablement to share best practises and case studiesAttributes you'll have:The ability to think strategically, curiously questioning and considering long term needs to anticipate and optimise business operationsA commercially focused mindset, applying critical thinking in decision making to deliver greater business performanceChange oriented, with ability to influence with positive impactYou'll role model collaboration, creating connections and alignment within and across teamsThe understanding and knowledge to act inclusively, proactively drawing on broad range of inputs and talent and considering diverse needs of internal and external stakeholdersPassion about our value proposition/offering/productsWhat you'll bring:Solid understanding of sales, account management, subscription-based products and new product developmentSignificant experience of successfully managing sales teams across multiple geographic locations selling global solutions to a range of client typesStrong knowledge of up-to-date market trends, business implications and appropriate solutionsAbility to manage teams with high engagement levels and a strong track record of successful delivery of business-wins and commercial resultsCapability to learn and apply knowledge at pace and use data analytics to deliver business improvementsDemonstrable ability to problem-solve effectively in a variety of complex situationsProven effectiveness in flexing and adapting approach to engage, lead, and develop talent and stakeholder relationshipsWhat you'll get for your hard work:A competitive package with hybrid and flexible working arrangements to maintain a decent work/life balance.
