If you're an IT Project Manager with Agile / Scrum experience, an exciting opportunity for you in the Greater Baltimore area!
We're partnered with a leading global asset management firm, and together, we're looking for a talented Project Manager for their Information Technology team. This is a highly collaborative role in which you'll be working with stakeholders, managers and other members of the functional project teams to define business requirements and provide updates.
Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
Develop and manage project plans, budget, timeline, and scope
Guide development teams to deliver high quality software solutions that meet or exceed expectations
Facilitate user acceptance testing and develop roll out plans and processes
Ensure adequate development and project management practices are followed
Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
Deliver presentations to project sponsors
Requirements of the IT Project Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; PMP or PMI preferred
At least 2 years of demonstrated project management experience
Experience delivering technical and business application solutions in a large-scale multi-platform environment
Skilled in people management and team building support
Ability to assess risk and apply management principles
Ability to quickly learn new business processes
Ability to adapt in an evolving environment
