Our employees are entrepreneurs who have a strong bias for driving bold action and trust each other to compete and win as a team.This is a hybrid role that would require commuting to our Hartford, WI headquarters multiple times a week.Business Job Title: Product Manager FASJob Summary:The Product Manager has overall responsibility of leading the product strategy for the Fresh Air Systems (FAS) business segment. The FAS product categories are the growth engine of the Broan-NuTone company. Voice of Customer is critical in knowing what our target users need in providing solutions to the residential and commercial Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) for fresh, clean air. Broan-Nutone is the market leader in residential IAQ and our product categories must incorporate futuristic innovation and new market changing ventilation solutions to solve target user every day needs, while increasing their “comfort & convenience” to live a happier, healthier and safer life, with their families in their homes.Job Responsibilities:Lead business initiatives and product programs as assigned to help deliver business results for assigned category, monitor performance, recommend and implement course correction actions as needed.Build KPI’s, action plans, and associated measurement approaches to track performance.Maintain continual surveillance and evaluation of competitors’ products/programs, market and industry trends. Trends such as demand drivers, product, design, technology, and pricing. Develop data into business recommendations and strategies.Create product strategy incorporating the need for product changes based on user need cases - aligning to being better than the competition.Define and present for approval the marketing requirements and business case justification for new product development scopes incorporating market dynamics, performance features, pricing, voice of customer, forecast and cross-functional team input where needed.Provide product input for annual marketing strategies, budgets, and plans and overarching brand and channel strategies; approve product marketing components of plan.Provide clear prioritization of the market information (VOC, competitive products, Sales/customer feedback, profitability, etc.) and LCM or new products required to exceed competitors in the market.Interact with customers and consumers to fully understand opportunities for improvements to current products, marketing programs and for new products.Design and implement voice of customer systems to understand customer and consumer feedback, and track continuous improvement metrics to fuel ideation, validation, and verification of product strategy.Recommend the pricing structure for the assigned categories.Define product assortment and set planograms and displays for key customers.Ensure that the new products are successfully managed and launched within the stage-gate process on time, on budget, and in scope in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager. Lead or provide marketing representation to cross functional new product development teams as assigned.Job Requirements:Strong presentation skills.Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams. This will include gaining information and possible alignment for relative project needs.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering or other technical discipline, MBA from a reputable business school is a plus.Intellectually curious with a firm understanding of general business and financial principles.Able to adapt to a fast pace ever changing environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight travel.
