We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Manager to work within our Contracts and Procurement team, located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take active leadership role in supply chain management, acting as a SME and POC incorporating supply chain management practices and methodologies within GA organization.

Leads a proactive, collaborative, and communicative integrated product team that is engaged in a process to select, manage, and establish strong relationships and partnerships; facilitating supplier performance to achieve both tactical and strategic goals.

Supports and coordinates subcontractor-relevant operational aspects of one or more programs; serves as a liaison between the program management office subcontractor, supports material project managers, and supply chain functions regarding operational and schedule targets or concerns.

Monitors and reviews status of subcontractor performance, relevant timelines, and financial performance, identify concerns and make recommendations, as appropriate. Develop well defined KPI’s, metrics to address program performance.

Assesses issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.

May accomplish tasks through peers in a matrixed environment, subordinate staff and/or management.

Incorporate and manage Risks and Opportunity within a matrix organization for proactive intervention and problem solving.

Makes decisions which have an impact on outcomes, and where failure to complete assignments will typically result in serious delays and expenditure of additional resources.

Creates project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained. Support kickoff meetings with supply chain during program award.

Interpret and apply policies, processes and procedures that impact project(s).

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.

Develop and effectively communicate Supply Chain methods and practices expectations to team members and stakeholders to establish business growth and execution plans.

Develop and drive process improvement initiatives to support procurement goals and objectives.

May participate in, lead segments of, or provide overall management for the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.

Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and eleven or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least five of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Experience in procurement processes and proposals.

Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

Must possess:

Ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects;

Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a variety of non-routine matters of diverse scope and nature;

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; and

Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.

SAP experience.

Must have experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze data.

Must be able to work extended hours. Ability to be flexible & effective with remote work, hybrid/remote, travel as necessary.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Thorough understanding of risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning

Knowledge of import / export regulations (ITAR/EAR)

Six Sigma and productivity improvement experience

Active Security Clearance: DOD or SSBI preferred

Program management experience a plus, PMP Certified

Aerospace industry experience

Government subcontracting experience

Experience negotiating agreements

Experience writing FAR compliant proposals

Experience writing Statement of Works

Salary:

$100,290 - $183,098
