Sr. Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions.

Comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills,

is the largest and leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.

Position Summary:

The

Sr. Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

will collaborate with business leaders and management of various companies to effectively drive the advancement of acquisitions and investment projects.

Support for Individual M&A Projects (70%):Collaborate with business leaders and management of various companies to effectively drive the advancement of acquisitions and investment projects, including but not limited to facilitating internal approval process, preparing related documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders both internal and external parties.Support for the M&A Director (30%):Assist the M&A Director in:

Collaborating with the holding company CEO to develop the group-wide M&A strategy.Identifying potential projects within group companies.Consolidating, updating, and sharing M&A knowledge (e.g., tools, playbook, templates) within the holding company.Managing related budgets and their execution.Attending trade shows for networking and deal sourcing purpose as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

M&A Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate development settings, with extensive experience in all aspects of M&A, with a particular emphasis on actively leading and advancing projects. This includes facilitating the due diligence process, conducting/supporting business due diligence, drafting and/or reviewing Letters of Intent (LOIs) and purchase agreements in collaboration with internal and external legal counsels, performing valuations, and possibly supporting post-merger integration planning.Industry Experience: Knowledge of or the ability to quickly adapt to the wholesale distribution and manufacturing industries, or related fields.Languages: Native, business-level proficiency in English; Japanese proficiency is a nice-to-have.Ideal Candidate Attributes:

Cultural Adaptability: Ability to work effectively within culturally diverse companies and teams.Analytical Skills: Capable of leading quantitative analyses related to M&A, performing industry analysis, understanding of key terms of acquisition related documents, and supporting strategic decision-making.Communication Skills: Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Willingness to Travel: This role requires travel as part of the job.
